Annual Giving and what it means to NEC

Every day we strive to offer the very best to the students entrusted to us by families and by their districts. Knowing that you are there to walk with us helps pave the way for enriching, live changing and otherwise obsolete learning experiences for our students. It is through the support of our community partnerships, that we have been able to open doors for the unique body of students we serve that typically would have remained closed.  Thank you.

If you would like to schedule a visit to learn more about our giving opportunities and more importantly, meet our students, please call Sarah Seiler at 978.232.9755 ext. 1251.

There are many ways to support the Northshore Education Consortium and some may even allow you to provide more than you realize. Key tax considerations which may help you increase the amount of your gift are described below.

Tribute Program

“In Honor of” or “In Memory of”

Tribute program

In any given year the Northshore Education Consortium (NEC) is the grateful recipient of numerous donations made in memory of or in honor of someone cherished. Through the Tribute Program, you can honor the memory of a loved one, recognize special occasions, wish someone a speedy recovery or even say thank you! At the same time, your recognition will provide invaluable resources to our very vulnerable population of students with special needs. These may be made as cash gifts and are mentioned in our annual publications.

Matching Gift

More for YOUR dollar!

Your company may have a Matching Gift program which may allow you to increase or even double the value of your gift to Friends of NEC! Check with your employer’s Human Resources office to determine if your company has a matching gift program.

Planned Gifts

Leaving a legacy!

Including Friends of NEC in your will, is the simplest type of planned gift and one of the easiest to implement. A bequest may specify a dollar amount, a particular asset, or a percentage of your estate. A bequest to Friends of NEC can be as simple as a sentence or two in your will or living trust agreement.
