NEC Clinical Staff are available to provide in-district consultation when schools need assistance in developing a plan for a student with mental health or behavioral health challenges. Additionally, we are able to provide clinical supervision and consultation to the district’s mental health staff.

    1. Record review

    2. Meeting with team members (administrators, teachers, counselors, etc.)

    3. Observation of student

    4. Clinical interview of student

    5. Clinical interview of parent(s)

  3. On-going consultation which may include any of the following:

    1. Informal training for team members around mental health or behavioral support topics.

    2. Assistance with accessing community-based services for student or family.

Clinical Supervision:

Clinical Supervision and/or consultation can be provided to your mental health staff, to include school adjustment counselors, social workers, psychologists etc., to support them and provide consultation and guidance regarding challenging students, family and/or school based issues. We have clinical leaders with extensive experience in the field who can provide this supervision.  Clinical Supervision is most effective when provided with regular frequency, but we will work around the schedule and needs of your district.
