Acclaimed comedian Loretta LaRoche presented “Life is Not a Stress Rehearsal” recently at the North Shore Music Theatre to benefit the Northshore Education Consortium. The Friends of the Northshore Education Consortium raised $30,000 to support the Consortium’s programs, including the Kevin O’Grady School, Northshore Academy, Recovery High School and Embark/STEP/SOAR. The Northshore Education Consortium is the largest provider of educational services to students with special needs in the North of Boston region.

In addition to selling tickets, the Friends hosted a silent auction and post-show reception with Loretta LaRoche. Top event sponsors included Lincoln Investment the Premier Sponsor, Corporate Benefit Plans and People’s United Bank. High school students from the Northshore Academy at McKeown catered the delicious pre-show refreshments.
