STAR PROGRAM
T
he Short Term Assessment and Reintegration Program (STAR) is a 45-day assessment program serving students in grades 1 to 12 who are referred by public school districts. The purpose of STAR is to provide an assessment to the referring school district for the general purpose of identifying what type of setting or supports may increase the likelihood of a student's success in school.
At the conclusion of the 45-day period, the assessment team presents to the student's parents and sending district a comprehensive assessment with recommendations.
