BIOGRAPHY
Deanne Cefalo
Deanne is currently the Director of the
Kevin O'Grady School which serves over 100 students with moderate to severe developmental disabilities between the ages of 3 to 22.
Deanne has over 20 years of experience in special education. Before coming to the Consortium in 1998, she worked as an out of district liaison/pre-school coordinator for Stoneham Public Schools for seven years. Previous to that, Deanne worked at the Institute Day School in Lowell serving students with emotional/behavioral needs as a teacher and administrator.
Currently, Deanne participates in many committee activities and oversees consortium-wide programs such as professional development, the induction program, building projects and program development. She has participated on contract negotiation teams and hiring search committees.
She is currently an adjunct professor for Lesley University in the Graduate School teaching special education courses.
Deanne is a member of Administrators of Special Education and participates in their annual conferences. She holds an undergraduate degree from Lesley College and a graduate degree from Cambridge College.
