GIVING
PlaySpace Build 2010
PLAYSPACE FOR AGES 3 TO 10 BY FALL 2010
S
un, fresh air, fun and physical activity make for healthy, happy kids, but these basics are not fully available to the children we serve at the Kevin O'Grady School in Beverly. While the children go out everyday (weather permitting), staff are limited to pushing or walking children with severe physical and cognitive challenges around the parking lot or playing on a small patch of green at the back of our campus at 112 Sohier Road.
We have the room to build a highly specialized PlaySpace for children of all abilities and we can do it with your help.
This won't be your ordinary playground. This will be big, beautiful universal PlaySpace with artful arches and bridges that will be useable for children of all abilities. In addition to swings and slides, the PlaySpace will feature a glider with a ramped entrance that will welcome both able-bodied and children in wheel chairs alike.
Help the Northshore Education Consortium make a dream come true for special needs children and their families by making your gift today to build a PlaySpace for the children served by our Kevin O'Grady School. Thank you.
